
Wilfred Voynich discovered the manuscript in 1912 and named after him. Based on the drawings and calligraphy, Voynich estimated that the manuscript was created on 13th century. It is consist of nearly 235 pages, measures seven by ten inches and thick. No one knows if where this manuscript came from and some of the experts believes that this was originated in Europe and written between 15th and 17th century. It was believed that that the manuscript was meant for medieval or early modern medicine. However, despite the efforts of many well known cryptologist and scholors, the book remains unread and part of the unsolved mystery here in earth.
